Frequently Asked Questions

Can we make changes after booking?

Absolutely! As long as the minimum booking is met and all changes are made 3 months before the wedding, changes are accepted.

Can I do a trial prior to booking?

Unfortunately, we do not offer trials prior to booking. This is because we can't guarantee your date will still be available. I would hate for you to love your hair at the trial, which I'm confident you would, then not be able to have is style your hair for the wedding.

A good way to look at it:

Trials are to show you a preview of your bridal hair, not to test out your stylist

Do you travel for wedding hair trials?

No. All bridal hair trials are held at my studio in Locust Grove, VA.

However, on the wedding morning, We’ll travel to you so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your wedding hairstyling experience

If my bridal party is paying individually for their hair, what amount do I tell them?

Since I offer packages and every party has a different budget, it’s important to me that you have full control over how much you would like to ask of your party to pay for their hair. An appropriate range that is expected for the bridal party is approximately $115 - $150+ per person.

How much do you charge for travel?

1 hour one way is included free of charge. Anything over is $.75 per mile every mile thereafter.

If location is over 2 hours from me, a hotel/air bnb is required for the night before the wedding.

When do you highly recommend extensions?

If you want Hollywood waves, any half up/ half down styles, a woven boho braid, or a big voluminous updo, I usually recommend extensions. They add volume to the styles, whereas without them, the hair can look spindly at the ends.

If I bring my own, which brand of extensions do you recommend?

I highly recommend Zala Extensions, Bellami & Luxy Hair. You typically will want 18-20 inches

What if I like your work but am not ready to book?

We try to stick to first come first serve rule of thumb. We receive multiple requests for the same date & therefore can't hold any wedding bookings without a signed contract & deposit.
